Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Savino Luca Grieco visited San Jose, CA in 1992 for what he intended to be a vacation. He shortly returned to live in San Jose leaving his family behind in pursuit of the American Dream. During his stay in San Jose, Savino gained experience in the restaurant industry.

In 1999, Cynthia Crespo was visiting San Jose and fell in love with Savino. Once married they moved to El Paso, TX, Cynthia’s home town, to bring fulfi llment to the dream of opening up an Italian Restaurant on January 19, 2001.

Savino has immensely enjoyed bringing his ancestors recipes and culinary experience to El Paso. So much so that in January 2007, Las Cruces, NM will be the second home, but with the same love to Savino’s addition to his restaurant passion.
